THE MECHANISM
When skin is wounded, cells called
fibroblasts begin their function to repair the damaged tissue. Part of their
role is to manufacture new collagen, an important component of the connective
tissue. Fibroblasts never completely lose the ability to synthesize collagen,
even in mature skins. But as humans age, their collagen levels dwindle. Skin
becomes drier and increasingly crinklier.
Matrixyl stimulates fibroblasts
in aged skin to produce more collagen. It increases the collagen production
level back to that comparable to young cells.

Matrixyl is a much more effective
solution than collagen-based anti-aging products. Matrixyl stimulates cells
to synthesize their own natural collagen. In contrast, collagen-based products

collagen is too large to go through the skin. Since the original collagen already
